The Nepalese Community Society of Calgary (NCSC) is a community-based not-for-profit organization. Established in February 20, 2004, NCSC envisions preserving Nepalese culture and heritage, and achieving the full potential of its community fellow members by integrating into the Canadian Society. It aims to build and strengthen the Nepalese Community in Calgary, promote and preserve Nepalese ties and partnerships with government, and non-government organizations to the benefit of its members, and improve the lives of community members for their social prosperity, stability, and successful integration into the multicultural Canadian society. NCSC also implements special projects to support challenging needs of Nepal origin Calgarians in partnership with other organizations.
NCSC is currently accepting applications from interested and qualified candidates for program Coordinator and an Administrative Assistant position to oversee day to day administrative works of the organization and support recently approved project on “Support Services to Socially Isolated Vulnerable Nepalese in Calgary” to be implemented from April 2021 in Calgary and area.
