Nepalese Community Society of Calgary (NCSC) with a funding support from the Federal, Provincial and City Governments has been running a series of scoping sessions with Nepali speaking seniors. We have organized two such sessions together with senior serving organization (Together with Seniors Society - TOSS) in a fun-filled outdoor environment. The first fun-filled session targetted Nepal-origin seniors living in Calgary and the second session targetted Nepali speaking seniors (Nepal and Bhutan origin seniors). There were almost 150 elders in the first session and 50 elders and their family members in the second event. Both sessions started with meet and greet followed by issue identification and prioritization. Discussion was done in a group environment and finally seniors expectation from NCSC was discussed.
