Gopal Bhatta, Ph D - Program Manager

With over 25 years of research and development experience in the areas of agriculture, climate change, food security, community development and project management, Dr Bhatta brings strong expertise in grant writing, project management and social mobilization. Dr Bhatta specializes in social science research and development. He has been in the field of volunteering work since last decade and with NCSC since 2020 as a Board of Advisor, and more recently as a Manager. Dr Bhatta also has been engaged as a volunteer editor or reviewer of over a dozen of scholarly journals and has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and book (see for more info: https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=gopal+datt+bhatta&btnG=). He has worked and/or supervised projects in Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Germany, Poland, Senegal, China, Japan, US and Canada, among others. Dr Bhatta holds multiple awards in acadmics and professional life. He enjoys transferring his knowledge to others, supporting needy people in the area he has expertise and building social assets.
