Funded by the City of Calgary, and led by Action Dignity, Collaborating for Anti-Racism, Equity and Social Justice (Calgary CARES) is an Anti-Racism project that aims at strengthening the collaborative capacity of 15 raciliazed organizations to do impactful actions with decision-making bodies to combat racism at a system level. NCSC aims to learn about anti-racism from all collaborative partners, enhance its capacity to deal with anti-racism, train some of its members in related areas and prepare a community action plan focusing on anti-racism. NCSC's project team has been attending series of virtual sessions on anti-racism and inputs will be provided on the community action plan document once shared by the leading organization.
