WEAVE Project
Migration and settlement in a new country are associated with higher mental health issues at various stages of the settlement process. Immigrants face several challenges, such as linguistic barriers in resource navigation and pursuing services from settlement agencies, racism and discrimination in various walks of life, knowledge and skills, and socio-economic barriers. The inability to cope with one or more of the issues above would lead to mental health repercussions. Through this project, we aim to promote mental wellness and well-being among Nepalese immigrants and equip them with the knowledge and resources needed to address mental health challenges.
