NCSC organized a blood donation program in collaboration with Canadian Blood Services on August 6, 2016, Saturday. 11 Community members participated in that program. The Canadian Blood Services provided Transportation service from and to NCSC office, Westwinds Drive, NE. The following members participated in that event. Nepalese Community Society of Calgary (NCSC) is happy to share this news that we were able to help Edmonton Emergency Relief Service Society to distribute goods to the Fort McMurray fire evacuees sending Volunteers on Saturday, May 28. We were 18 people volunteering and served 365 people. We would like to thank all the volunteers who participated in this noble cause. NCSC is proud to have such members. We also express our gratitude to Edmonton Emergency Relief Service Society(EERSS) for providing us this opportunity. Nepalese Community Society of Calgary (NCSC) donated $5000.00 to the Canadian Red cross to help the victims of recent Alberta fire in Fort McMurry. President of NCSC Mr. Dhruba Rai handed over the cheque to the Red Cross Canada. According to the Mr. Madhab Dulal, an Event Coordinator of NCSC, this donation will use to buy the immediate necessary items for the people who lost their home. Joint Secretary Mr. Harish Pandey, NCSC member Miss Yani Dulal and Miss Mamta KC also participated at this program. NCSC is going to volunteer in Edmonton. NCSC Celebrate nepali new year 2073BS at Falconridge Castleridge Community Centre on april 9th 2016. Popular singer Mr. Buddhi Adhirai worms the stage with his top lok folk songs along with local artists. Mr. Shree kanta Aryal and Miss Anju Gyawali were the MC of the program. NCSC distributed LIFE MEMBER CERTIFICATE for the life members of NCSC.
