We would like to express our profound gratitude to everyone that participated in the "Essay Writing Contest 2020-2021" organized by NCSC Nepali Pathshala.    We highly appreciate all your hard work. Every essay we received made us feel proud of you and filled our hearts with joy. NCSC ELECTION 2020 VOTING LINK INFO

Dear Respected Members, As scheduled and communicated in our Annual General Meeting (AGM), we are pleased to let you know that virtual voting is scheduled on Saturday August 1, 2020 from 6Am to 9 PM. An email with the voting link has already been sent out form vote@simplyvoting.com.  You may access the link using the Elector ID and Password provided.  Elector ID and Passwords are system generated and unique for each individual member and it is strictly confidential. Only the member would know the details and no one else. Please note that the link will open and it will work only on Saturday August 1, 2020 from 6Am. and will be closed at 9 PM (Mountain Standard Time). We are sending you the link in advance so that we can confirm and capture if any members are missing emails. TERIYA MAGAR AND DIPAK LIMBU Grand Show ” ON DECEMBER 25, 2017

NCSC is proud to have the biggest event ever in its history completed very successfully on 25 December 2017. This event Was as a part of fundraiser for NCSC resource centre and we are confident that we met our expectations (total income/expenditures yet to be finalized). There were a lot of people working hard to make this event grand and successful. Our gratitude goes to Mr. Megh Kunwar and Rajesh Sharma for helping in visa processing, Ishwari Bhattarai of Easy Air Travels and Tours for helping in air ticket booking and KOSYS for program tickets.  We also would like to thank Prakash Chhetri and Anita Phounja Magar for their efforts to Bring Teriya here.  We are grateful to Jalal Ladak and radio sursangam family for promoting our program. Any word is not enough to thank them. We had a steering Committee formed as a part of planning and all the members of the committee worked hard and fulfilled their responsibilities successfully. Ambassador of Nepal to Canada his excellency Kali Prasad Pokharel is visiting Calgary on 14 to 15 June. On this occasion, NCSC had organized an interaction program on 14 June  at NCSC 's office (212-4851 Westwinds Drive NE). Services from Nepali Embassy was also provided on the day.

Dental Hygiene Workshop at NCSC Nepali Pathshala

Dr Rekha Parajuli and Mckenzie Hart visited our NCSC Nepali Pathshala and gave presentation on dental hygiene to our children. This workshop was very informative and the event was successful. We are really thankful to Dr parajuli and Ms Hart.  Dr. Rekha Parajuli has been practicing at Brentwood Village Dental Clinic for last six years as a Dentist. Dr Parajuli graduated from the University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2011 and has been working in this clinic since her graduation. If you have any dental issues or would like to have a consultation, you can book an appointment with her by calling the clinic at 403-210-5050 or home at 403-220-9810.

Donation for Alberta Fire

Nepalese Community Society of Calgary (NCSC) donated $5000.00 to the Canadian Red cross to help the victims of recent Alberta fire in Fort McMurry. President of NCSC Mr. Dhruba Rai handed over the cheque to the Red Cross Canada. According to the Mr. Madhab Dulal, an Event Coordinator of NCSC, this donation will use to buy the immediate necessary items for the people who lost their home. Joint Secretary Mr. Harish Pandey, NCSC member Miss Yani Dulal and Miss Mamta KC also participated at this program. NCSC is going to volunteer in Edmonton. April 10, 2016 - NCSC AGM & New Year Celebration 2073 BS

NCSC Celebrate nepali new year 2073BS at Falconridge Castleridge Community Centre on april 9th 2016. Popular singer Mr. Buddhi Adhirai worms the stage with his top lok folk songs along with local artists. Mr. Shree kanta Aryal and Miss Anju Gyawali were the MC of the program.
